Page Layout Ideas - Pregnancy to Birth
I'm Pregnant!
Take a picture of how excited you and your significant other were when you
found out you were pregnant. Journal how you shared the news with
your significant other. Take a side picture of yourself 'before' the
belly bump. Journal how you felt. Did you have morning
sickness? Did you think it would be a boy or a girl? Journal
potential names you are thinking of.
Visit to the Doctor
When was your first visit to the Doctor? Take a picture of yourself
outside the Doctor's office. What is the Doctor's name and possibly
include a picture. Journal the due date. Include a picture of
the sonogram. Document when is the first time you heard the
heartbeat.
2nd Trimester
Now the belly is starting to show! Take a side picture of yourself showing
how big you are getting. How do you feel now? What foods to
you love and what do you hate? Cut out pictures of these from the
newspaper (treated with preserver or color photocopied on acid free paper) or find some to
print out from the internet.
3rd Trimester
Now the belly is huge! Include another side picture of yourself.
Is the baby's room ready yet? Take pictures of it. Journal
your thoughts.
Baby Shower
When was your baby shower? Include an invitation and take lots of
pictures of who came. Journal what gifts were received and include
some pictures of your favorites.
Baby is Here!
The long awaited day! When was it? Take pictures at the hospital.
Include the baby's name bracelet. Include the birth announcement and
a clipping of
newspaper from that day (be sure to treat it with preserver or photo copy
it onto acid free paper).
Baby's World
Include pictures of grandmas, grandpas, siblings, etc. Take a
picture of your cars, it may seem inconsequential now but in 20 years it
will probably be funny how silly our cars looked. Find a picture of
the current president and governor from the Internet and document who they
were. Journal major world
events and what things cost (gas, milk, houses, etc). What
were popular TV shows, music and
movies at this time? You can find pictures to illustrate these
things from the internet or you can journal them.
